Reasons for recurrent kidney stones, that I know of....
**hypercalcemia- high blood calcium and/or high urine calcium
(this is what caused mine, I was diagnosed by a mineral metabolist and put on medication. my blood calcium was within normal range 9.4, but my urine calcium was 349 when it should be under 250.)
** hyperparathyroid- get your thyroid checked
**high uric acid levels "gout" - can be proven with a blood test
**cystinuria - an metabolic disorder - ask for a nitroprusside cyanide test
**dehydration "too many cokes or coffees" - however if you have tiny white particles you see floating in your urine- get your calcium levels checked.
**consumption of too many high oxalate foods
other imbalances determined by a mineral specialist
